"The Apothecary's Assistant" // Watercolor & Ink // 2014 // Archival Giclée Print
$18.00
He works quietly, focused on counting out the precise number of tiny seedpods, the name of them long-forgotten to all but the most specialized herbalists. His master had long surpassed that distinction, moving into the winding, murky paths of an ancient knowledge, laced with blooms and stems of rare beauty and--some said--a strange, mystical power.
This illustration is based on a character for a series of short stories I wrote a few years ago, my first attempt at anything close to fantasy.
All of my watercolor prints are created with love and care on my Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer. They are museum-quality, printed on 240gsm Aquarelle Rag, which is gorgeous, 100% cotton and acid-free, which means they will last for a very, very long time.
Sizes available:
8.5" x 11"
5" x 7"
Prints will arrive unframed, covered with a protective plastic sleeve in a sturdy recycled flat mailer with a piece of scrap chip board for extra support.
I take a lot of pride in the quality of my prints, and strive to photograph them as accurately as possible, but please be aware that every monitor is different, and it's possible that the colors in your print will differ slightly than how it appears on your computer screen.
