"Talking of Dreams" // Watercolor & Ink // 2016 // Archival Giclée Print
$18.00
"Oh, then I see Queen Mab hath been with you.
She is the fairy's midwife, and she comes
In the shape no bigger than an agate-stone
On the forefinger of an alderman,
Drawn with a team of little atomies
Athwart men's noses as they lie asleep."
-Mercutio, Romeo & Juliet, Act I, Scene IV
If only Romeo had taken Mercurio's subtext that nothing good ever happens when Queen Mab gets involved to heart and stayed far away from the Capulet party that night...but then, what kind of story would that be? Here, it's pure imagination, though...and Mercurio paints his image in Romeo's head so vividly he can practically see it.
All of my watercolor prints are created with love and care on my Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer. They are museum-quality, printed on 240gsm Aquarelle Rag, which is gorgeous, 100% cotton and acid-free, which means they will last for a very, very long time.
Sizes available:
8.5" x 11"
5" x 7"
Prints will arrive unframed, covered with a protective plastic sleeve in a sturdy recycled flat mailer with a piece of scrap chip board for extra support.
I take a lot of pride in the quality of my prints, and strive to photograph them as accurately as possible, but please be aware that every monitor is different, and it's possible that the colors in your print will differ slightly than how it appears on your computer screen.
